Mary Benbenek PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, CPNP-PC, FAANP

 Dr. Mary Benbenek is a Clinical Professor and coordinator of the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Benbenek exemplifies excellence in education by her consistent commitment to innovation in NP education, role development, community engagement and improving health care outcomes in the under-served.  Her clinical expertise has been recognized through appointments to numerous state and county committees including the Hennepin Community Health Services Advisory Committee, the Minnesota Drug Formulary committee, the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Committee and the Health Care Home committee. She has received university and professional teaching, public service, and practice awards.
