Suzanne Lesta Reiter MM, MSN, WHNP-BC, FAANP
Ms. Suzanne Reiter earned her BSN at the University of Kentucky and MSN from Case Western Reserve University. She also has a Master of Management degree from Aquinas College. In 2004, she received the Alumni Clinical Practice Award from the University Of Kentucky School Of Nursing. Ms. Reiter was instrumental in the start-up of the first sexual assault nurse examiner program in Michigan where she served as a SANE nurse for over 11 years.
Ms. Reiter has been the Clinical Investigator or Principal Investigator in 12 research studies involving various aspects of contraception, gynecology, adolescent services, and sexual assault. She is the author of many publications in the areas of contraception, menopause management and sexual assault.
She is a past President of the National Certification Corporation for Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nurses (NCC) and has had leadership positions on many Boards of Directors including the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health. She is considered an expert speaker, trainer and clinician. She now resides in Clearwater, Florida.
