Kimberly Posey PhD, DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, GS-C, FAANP
Dr. Posey is a national leader in nurse practitioner education and serves as the director of graduate nursing programs at Texas Christian University. She developed and led the inaugural BSN to DNP nurse practitioner programs, among the first in Texas utilizing distance learning to increase accessibility and enhance nurse practitioner education. Dr. Posey was honored as a Distinguished Educator by the National Hartford Center for Gerontological Nursing Excellence and is the president-elect of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association. Additionally, her leadership and advocacy in launching a foot care clinic for unhoused adults has become a model of community-based health care, addressing critical health care disparities. These earned her the Texas Nurse Practitioners Community Impact Award, the Community Champion Nominee by Tarrant County Homeless Coalition and the Fort Worth Business Press Healthcare Hero award.
