Cathy R Kessenich Phd, ARNP, FAANP
Dr. Cathy Kessenich is Professor of Nursing and Director of the Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Tampa. She earned a doctorate from the University of Alabama and a Nurse Practitioner certificate from Simmons College. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties and an officer in the West Coast Council of Nurse Practitioners and the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses. She specializes in osteoporosis prevention, diagnosis and treatment. She frequently lectures on this nationally and has published over 80 papers and book chapters concerning osteoporosis and other topics.
