Dr. Fedricker Diane Barber, Ph.D., ANP-BC, AOCNP, FAANP is a manager of advanced practice providers in the Department of Investigational Cancer Therapeutics at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and is a sought-after speaker on various topics related to oncology, clinical trials, and advanced practice nurses at national and international conferences. She developed a clinical practice framework for oncology nurse practitioners that serve in the unique role of early phase clinical trial sub-investigators. She earned her BS in Nursing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, an MSN from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Tyler.
