Kenneth P Miller PhD, RN, CFNP, FAAN, FAANP
Kenneth P. Miller, PhD, RN, CFNP, FAAN, FAANP, of North Bethesda, Maryland, is the former Associate Dean for Academic Administration at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC (2010-2014). Prior to this most recent position he was the Director of the School of Nursing for the University of Delaware (2007-2010). He was formerly the vice dean for Internal Programs and associate dean for research and clinical scholarship in the College of Nursing at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (1998-2007). Before his tenure as vice dean, Miller held professorial positions at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. He also served as director of clinical nursing research at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Miller also worked as a clinical nurse in medical centers and hospitals in California, Arizona and Michigan. He furthered his career as a Family Nurse Practitioner in New Mexico, Delaware and the District of Columbia. Miller is also a former ACNP President (2006) and a Past President of the National Nursing Centers Consortium (2008-2010). He currently serves as the full time President of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (2014- ). Additionally, he is working towards a Master of Jurisprudence law degree with a specialty in Healthcare law at the Beasley Institute of Health Law and Policy at Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law.
