Mikel L Gray PhD, PNP, FNP, CUNP, CCCN, FAAN, FAANP
Dr. Gray is a professor and Nurse Practitioner with the University of Virginia's Department of Urology and School of Nursing. He is licensed as a family and pediatric nurse practitioner and holds additional certification as a urologic nurse practitioner.
He is Editor-in Chief of the Journal of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing.
His clinical practice focuses on neurological urology, urodynamic testing and conservative treatment of lower urinary tract disorders including urinary incontinence, urinary retention, painful bladder disorder, and dysfunctional urine elimination syndrome.
Dr. Gray regularly lectures nationally and internationally on topics related to men's health, urologic nursing, wound ostomy and continence nursing, and evidence based practice. His research interests include moisture associated skin damage and incontinence associated dermatitis in particular. He is a member of the International Research Group for Incontinence Associated Dermatitis.
