Jacinto Jose Garrido PhD, DNP, ANP-BC, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Jacinto Garrido has had a distinguished 26-year career as a Captain and advanced practice nurse with the United States Public Health Service, stationed with the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security. His career with the government positioned him to develop national and global health care programs in coordination with domestic and foreign health officials. In pursuit of developing these programs he visited 6 of 7 continents and 65 countries.
Dr. Garrido received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Florida International University, his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Florida Atlantic University. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Academy of Nursing. He is a board certified adult nurse practitioner, adjunct faculty at FAU, and a healthcare consultant.
