Karen M Myrick DNP, APRN, FNP, ONP, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Myrick is the Program Manager for the Institute of Orthopedic Education at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Director of Nursing Educaiton and Practice for Springer Publishing, a professor at Quinnipiac University and practices at the Orthopedic Associates of Hartford. She is the author of Orthopedic Nurse Certification Review and Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Case Studies for Advanced Practice Nurses. She has served as a chapter author or contributor for more than a dozen books and authored or coauthored more than 40 articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Myrick has received the Outstanding Researcher Award from the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties and was twice named a Top 20 NP by the Point of Care Network and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
