Amelie Hollier DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Hollier holds a BS in Microbiology and Chemistry, BSN from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, MSN from McNeese State University, and Post Master's FNP from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. She earned a DNP from the University of Tennessee. She works in clinical practice at at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana and the CEOr of her own company – APEA - which provides review books, audio CDs, review courses and continuing education programs nationwide. She plans educational sessions, presents numerous educational courses and continuing education programs at the local, state and national levels. She has received Advanced Practice Nurse of the year from Louisiana, Entrepreneur of the year from her state NP organization. Her research interests are drug interactions, antibiotics in primary care and safe prescribing.
