Carolyn Montoya PhD, CPNP, FAANP
Dr. Carolyn Montoya is the Interim Executive Vice-Dean Associate Dean at the College of Nursing, University of New Mexico. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Nursing at UNM; Master's Degree in Nursing from Yale University; and PhD from the College of Nursing at UNM. Dr. Montoya was President of the New Mexico Nurse Practitioner Council in 1993 when the Council successfully lobbied for independent practice and full prescriptive authority for NPs. She is a Past President of NAPNAP and ACNP.
