Jennifer Salerno DNP, CPNP, FAANP
Dr. Salerno is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Director of the RAHS school-based health center program at the University of Michigan. Jennifer is also an adjunct faculty member at the UM School of Nursing and a consultant to the Michigan Department of Community Health. She has over 16 years of experience as a nurse practitioner working with at risk adolescent populations, primarily in adolescent risk assessment and risk behavior counseling using motivational interviewing strategies. Dr. Salerno has developed the Rapid Assessment for Adolescent Preventive Services risk-screening tool used by hundreds of health professionals worldwide, published that work in multiple venues and provides strong leadership in the state and national school based health center work.
