Cindy A Parsons DNP, ARNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Parsons earned her BSN from Western Connecticut State University, MSN from Pace University and DNP from Rush University. She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tampa and maintains a part-time private practice. Certified as a Family Psychiatric NP and Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinical Specialist, she specializes in the full spectrum psychiatric mental health care, focusing on family systems, community health and quality improvement. Active in local, state and national NP and nursing organizations, she is the current membership chair for the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network. She has presented at numerous state and national conferences and published in nursing journals and texts at both the generalist and advanced practice level.
