Mary Koslap-Petraco DNP PPCNP-BC CPNP FAANP
Dr. Mary Koslap-Petraco is a Nurse Consultant on the staff of the Immunize.org, CEO and a primary care provider in her own private practice and serves on the executive board of Vaccinate Your Family-The Next Generation of Every Child by Two. She is a nationally known expert in immunization practice and has been an advisor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and previously served on the Advisory Board of the Immunize.org and National Vaccine Advisory Committee. Dr. Koslap-Petraco is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Stony Brook University School of Nursing in Stony Brook, NY where she teaches in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She has over 25 years of experience in public health and has advised local and state health departments on immunization public policies using her expertise as a public health nurse to influence system level changes. Dr. Koslap-Petraco is the author of the Immunizations chapter in Burns’ Pediatric Primary Care 8th ed. which is the primary text used by Pediatric Nurse Practitioner programs. She is Corresponding Department Editor for Immunizations Research and Vaccines for the Journal of Pediatric Health Care. Dr. Koslap-Petraco received ANA’s Bringing Immunity to Every Community Award and is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
