Susan Wrisley Groth PhD, RN, WHNP, FAANP
Dr. Groth is an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with two passions: providing care to the under-served, and decreasing the prevalence of obesity in women. She provided care to uninsured and under served women and adolescents for over 18 years. She received her BS degree from Roberts Wesleyan College and her MS and PhD from the University of Rochester. Dr. Groth is an Associate Professor at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. Her bio-behavioral research is focused on obesity, particularly the obesity that develops during the childbearing years, and the underlying mechanisms of weight changes and development of cardiometabolic risk in women.
