Nancy Piper Jenks has practiced as a family nurse practitioner since 1983. She has traveled extensively, and worked in Africa, Asia and Europe. Her practice setting in the USA has been in community health centers, where she is committed to providing care to culturally diverse, vulnerable populations. She is the director of the department of Internal Medicine Hudson River Community Health. Ms. Piper Jenks specializes in migrant health and travel medicine, and presents nationally and internationally in areas such as standards of travel medicine, best practices in migrant health and infectious diseases. She has numerous publications in the peer-reviewed literature.
