Emily S Merrill PhD, APRN, FNP, BC, CS-MS, CNE, FAANP
Dr. Merrill is Professor Emeritus at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in Lubbock, TX. She has provided leadership for the development and expansion of hybrid and distance education for APRN students in the MSN, Post Graduate, and BSN to DNP tracks including Family, Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Pediatric Acute and Primary Care, Nurse Midwifery, and Psychiatric Mental Health. She teaches APRN role development and mentors NP students in their NP journey regarding their anticipated role.
She has served as an AANP Regional Representative and was named as recipient of the State Award for Nurse Practitioner Excellence by AANP. Her most recent work includes presentations on "Combatting Senior Financial Exploitation."
