Alice M Teall DNP, APRN-CNP, FAANP, FNAP
Alice M Teall serves as Senior Director of Wellness at Kenyon College, where she oversees the offices of Health Services, Counseling Services, and Health Promotion. With over four decades of experience as a nurse, nurse practitioner, educator, and leader, Dr. Teall's previously held roles included Director of Graduate Wellness Academic Programming, and Director of the online Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the Ohio State University. Following her retirement from the College of Nursing in 2024, she was granted Associate Professor Emeritus status.
Dr. Teall's clinical expertise encompasses college health, primary care for at-risk youth, and recovery from substance use disorder. Her scholarly contributions include textbooks, peer-reviewed publications, podcasts, webinars, and national presentations focused on evidence-based assessment, clinician well-being, telehealth best practices, and educational innovation. She has received prestigious awards as a result of her leadership in education and dedication to advancing wellness practice, including the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Award for Innovation in Professional Nursing, the Provost’s Award for Distinguished Teaching at Ohio State, and the Presidential Award for Faculty Excellence at Wright State University.
