Susan Hagedorn PhD, APRN-BC, PNP, WHNP, FAANP
Dr. Hagedorn received her BA in English from Ohio Wesleyan University, a BS in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and MS in Maternal-Child Nursing from Boston College, a Certificate in Women's Health from Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and an PhD in Nursing from the University of Colorado.
Dr. Hagedorn is committed to the profession, contributing to teaching, practice, theory, and policy initiatives. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner and a women's health nurse practitioner who serves at-risk youth and women. Dr. Hagedorn coordinates the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Option at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, as well a practicing in a residential treatment center, running a mentor program for at-risk middle school students, coordinating a clinic for women and children in a safe house, implementing the first comprehensive school-based center in Massachusetts, and developing a new school-based health center network in Northeast Denver.
