Natalie Baker DNP, ANP-BC, GNP-BC, GS-C, CNE, FAANP, FAAN
Natalie Baker, DNP, ANP-BC, GNP-BC is Associate Professor at University of Alabama Birmingham. Recognized for her expertise in the field of gerontology, National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence appointed her to an expert panel responsible for development of Gerontological Nurse Educator Competencies. She is currently serving as GAPNA's President. She received gubernatorial appointment to the Alabama Board of Nursing as the advanced practice nurse representative (2015-current). She maintains a NP practice at a local nursing home. Dr. Baker is 2016 recipient AANP Advocate State Award of Excellence and was inducted as Fellow by the American Academy of Nursing (2021).
