Cydne J Marckmann DNP, ARNP, FAANP

Ms. Marckmann is currently a nurse practitioner with MultiCare Health Systems in Puyallup, WA as the Director or the Advanced Practice Primary Care Fellowship .   Continuing to combine her interest in sports medicine and innovative care systems, her DNP Project involved designing a telemedicine program for concussion management for providers in Washington State.  A member of the National Advisory Council on Nursing Education and Practice from 2005-2010, Cydne was ​on the writing team for three key reports to the Secretary of Health and Human Services on nursing education and practice issues. She was the first nurse practitioner appointed as a Medical Director for the 14-city Susan G. Komen 3Day Breast Cancer walks and is a strong advocate for regulations requiring evidence-based guidelines for athletes returning to play after sustaining a concussion. Cydne has been a clinical preceptor since 2002.
