Joyce M Knestrick PhD, C-FNP, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Knestrick is a past president of AANP and is a Visiting Professor at George Washington University School of Nursing. She practices at Wheeling Health Right in Wheeling West Virginia bringing quality health care to the vulnerable populations in West Virginia and Ohio. Knestrick has a PhD from Duquesne University and a MSN from West Virginia University. Her research interests have focused on the health of low-income and rural Appalachian populations and policy issues related to those populations. She is a leader in distance education and an innovator in graduate nursing education.
