Quannetta T Edwards PhD, MSN, MS, MPH-c, BSN, FNP-C, WHCNP, AGN-BC, FAANP
Quanetta T. Edwards is a certified family and women's health nurse practitioner with over 31 years experience. She retired in the rank of Colonel after 28 years service in the U.S. Air Force. Her roles as a nurse practitioner include clinician, Military Nurse Practitioner Consultant to the Surgeon General, researcher, clinic chief, NP program director at several universities, and Chairperson of a graduate nursing program.
Dr. Edwards has presented at numerous local, national & international conferences and is a recipient of many awards for 'best clinical and scientific research'. She has numerous publications in nursing, nurse practitioner and medical journals.
In 2007, Dr. Edwards completed a 2-year fellow in clinical cancer genetics at the City of Hope National Medical Center, Dept of Clinical Cancer Genetics. Her research interests are in 'breast cancer' 'breast cancer prevention' 'health disparities' and 'genetics/genomics/family history intergration into curriculum'.
She currently is an Associate Professor at Cal State University-Fullerton, Fullerton, California.
