Beth M Haney DNP, FNP-C, FAANP, FAAN

Dr. Beth Haney, DNP is a family nurse practitioner and owner of Eagle Aesthetics. She is former owner of a private aesthetics/wellness practice she founded in 2006 and sold in 2023. Dr. Haney was elected to Yorba Linda City Council and served two 4-year terms from 2016 - 2024 serving as mayor in 2020, mayor pro-tem 2019 and 2024. Dr. Haney has served in multiple city and county roles including Chairman of the UCI - Placentia Linda Hospital Board, Orange County Waste Management and Recycling Commissioner, Transportation Corridor Agency Board Director, Orange County Fire Authority Board Director, Associate Board Member of Financial Partners Credit Union, and Board Director of the YMCA of Orange County. Dr. Haney has served in several roles with AANP including Southern California State Liaison, Health Policy Committee Member, Health Policy Conference Committee Chair, and Health Policy Conference Committee Member.

Currently, Dr. Haney is an adjunct professor at Boise State University (BSU) and co-created the Leadership course for the BSN - DNP nursing program in 2025, she also teaches Health Policy at University of Southern California (USC). Her recent previous clinical experience includes University of California, Irvine, (UCI) Student Health Center, an NP student preceptor, a frequent presenter at national conferences on primary-care, women's health, aesthetics, business, and leadership. She is a former Assistant Clinical Professor in Nursing, UCI, (2010 - 2017) and Past President of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Haney developed the first University of California system-wide, inter-professional aesthetic courses and was awarded the UCI 2013 Faculty of the Year. She has recognized through awards including the inaugural 2020 HealthImpact DaisyNurse Leader Award in Policy, California Women's Leadership Association - 2020 Women to Watch, California Association for Nurse Practitioners - 2018 Nurse Practitioner of Distinction Award among others.

Dr. Haney is the author of Aesthetic Procedures: Nurse Practitioner's Guide to Cosmetic Dermatology (2020, 2nd ed. 2024) a textbook for nurse practitioners, she is also a contributing author of Dermatological Nursing Essentials: a Core Curriculum (3rd ed.); a dermatology nursing textbook, contributing author of Image Guided Aesthetic Treatments (2023); a medical textbook, and author of numerous published articles.
