Joanne L Thanavaro DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, DCC, FAANP
Dr. Thanavaro is the Associate Dean of Graduate Education at St. Louis University. She is certified as an adult, acute care and gerontology nurse practitioner as well as a diplomat in comprehensive care. She has been instrumental in the development of a free clinic for uninsured patients in St. Louis where she practices and also mentors NP students. She practices at Washington University Clinical Associates and is recognized as an expert clinician and educator. She has published widely and is a frequent presenter at local, national and international Advanced Practice conferences. Dr. Thanavaro is an active member of numerous professional organizations at national and local levels.
