Susan Moore Matthews PhD, APRN, PMHNP, FAANP
Dr. Matthews has over 20 years of clinical and academia experience in various nursing settings. She received her Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky. She is the owner of Bluegrass Regional Healthcare and Bright Futures Behavioral Health in Western Kentucky and is actively engaged in research and legislative issues. Dr. Matthews is an internationally and nationally recognized speaker and author on topics such as diabetes; patient-provider communication; satisfaction with diabetes treatment; and attitudes toward diabetes. In addition, she was the 2006 recipient of the AANP Kentucky State Award for Excellence.
