Elaine Dorean Kauschinger PhD, MSN, FNP-CA, FAANP
Elaine D. Kauschinger, PhD, MSN, FNP-CA, FAANP is a family nurse practitioner and Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at the Duke University School of Nursing. With over 40 years of clinical practice, she has a passion for caring for vulnerable populations with complex health conditions in forensic settings. She has extensive teaching experience in MSN and DNP courses. Recognized for her expertise in emerging technologies in NP education, she is an invited member of the National Organization for Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) Simulation Committee, NONPF Chair of Simulation Special Interest Group, and the NLN Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation as an on-site clinical nursing evaluator.
