Pam L King PhD, FNP, PNP, APRN
Dr. King is the former Director of the Graduate Nursing Programs at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. She has been teaching nurses for more than 30 years and has taught nurse practitioner students for nearly 20 years. During that time she has been instrumental in promoting a model of service-learning that has included the creation of community partnerships with EMS, interdisciplinary learning opportunities, provision of care in underserved areas such as Guatemala and Appalachia, and expanding services in local free health clinics. Her clinical practice has been devoted to care of the under-served and rural health care and she has served as a preceptor and mentor to students in all of these settings.
