Christine L Pintz PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Christine Pintz is a Professor at the George Washington (GW) University School of Nursing (SON). She is an expert on the use of educational technology and its application in NP and graduate education. Dr. Pintz’s research is focused on the use of educational technology and distance education in NP education, interprofessional education, educational evaluation and the promotion of patient self-management of chronic illness. She is the recipient of the Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Educational Technology, STTI Best Practice in Technology, and the GW Bender Teaching Awards. She has led innovation initiatives and developed courses and workshops promoting creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship for nursing students, faculty and nursing leaders. In addition to her faculty activities, she is a board-certified family and women’s health nurse practitioner and volunteers with the Arlington Free Clinic in Arlington, Virginia.
