Julie Ann Koch DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Julie Koch has recently retired as the Assistant Dean of Graduate Nursing and DNP Program Director at Valparaiso University. With more than 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Koch has become an expert in adult immunizations, implementing an EBP project which led to system-wide organization changes in immunization practice. She has served as the only NP on the Adult Immunizations Faculty Steering Committee for The France Foundation, addressing barriers to vaccination across the nation. Dr. Koch was the first NP to receive prescriptive authority in the State of Indiana and led the development of the first BSN-DNP program launched within the state.
