Stephanie Elaine Burgess PhD, APRN-BC, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Burgess has been the strongest NP political advocate for changes in the laws, and she is respected as one of the most significant persons in politics in SC. She served as President of the SC Nurses Association, President of the NP Coalition, and is an elected member of the Richland School 2 Board. She is well known for her work with the SC General Assembly and is a skilled negotiator for improved laws and policy for health care. She is an activist among her peers and is a respected mentor to new faculty and nurse practitioners across the state.
