Jacqueline B Broadway-Duren PhD, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Broadway-Duren is a family nurse practitioner who is currently employed as an advanced practice nurse at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Since joining the department of leukemia she has served as a team leader, mentor, clinician, researcher and educator, and presented to various audiences at multiple national, international, state and local conferences. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners. She served as adjunct faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Cizik School of Nursing for several years. Dr. Broadway-Duren has contributed numerous publications and is currently focused on education and clinical research with emphasis on systemic lupus erythematosus. In addition, she has received several awards for excellence in patient care and for her contributions to APRNs at MD Anderson. She actively serves as a national facilitator for the Lupus Foundation of America and in partnership with faith communities nationwide.
