Melanie A Brewer DNSc, RN, FNP-BC, NEA-BC, FAANP
Dr. Melanie Brewer has been an FNP for over 18 years. With expertise in neurology, oncology, and elder care, she has precepted numerous NP students and mentors APRN projects to reduce distress in oncology and delirium among hospitalized older patients. She is the Executive Director and Principal Investigator for the CMS-sponsored GNE Demonstration Project for Arizona, one of five awarded nationally. Dr. Brewer is also actively involved in APRN policy development with ANA. As Network Director of Nursing Research at HonorHealth she provides interdisciplinary education and mentorship on the development of research and evidence-based practice projects to APRN's, interprofessional students, and staff to improve patient outcomes.
