Sophia Chu Rodgers MSN, ACNP, NP-C, FAANP
Ms. Rodgers has over 28 years of clinical experience in all aspects of nursing care. In 1996 after receiving her nurse practitioner preparation she started new Mexico's first acute care nurse practitioner program in trauma and critical care. She has lectured nationally on numerous topics including trauma, critical care, and acute care topics. Ms. Rodgers has published several articles including a book chapter. She also serves as adjunct clinical faculty for the Graduate and Acute Care NP Programs at the University of New Mexico College of Nursing. In 2001 Ms. Rodgers received the AANP New Mexico State Award for Excellence. In 2002 she was the recipient of the Circle of Excellence NP of the Year Award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She has also been a YWCA woman on the Move Award honoree.
