LeAnn R Holmes DNP, APRN, FAANP
Dr. Holmes is a clinical associate professor at UNMC College of Nursing and a practicing FNP. Her academic career has focused on advancing nursing education, faculty development, and enhancing access to care. She has served in multiple leadership roles, including Director of the UNMC DNP Program and Faculty Practice Director at the College of Nursing. Her research interests include nurse practitioner workforce development, faculty practice, and health equity, and she has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to her academic contributions, she has served as a faculty preceptor, mentor, and committee member for numerous nursing initiatives.
Her clinical experience spans various settings, where she has mentored new nurse practitioners and contributed to advancing care models. LeAnn currently practices at an NP owned family practice clinic in Lincoln NE.
