Mary Jane Maloney DNP APRN - CNP FAANP
Dr. Mary Jane Maloney is a staff nurse practitioner for a physician owned wound care company where she performs the evaluation and management of chronic wound care and primary dermatology. Her significant contributions lay in the health policy arena and includes the development of Schedule II education for greater than 2000 APRNs, and drafting legislation for full practice authority. Additionally, she drafted legislation for APRN medication administration delegation and authority for psychiatric APRNs to compel mental health examinations for persons at risk in harming others or themselves which successfully passed through legislation. Her current efforts (2018) are centered on the removal of the mandated collaborative agreement with a physician for APRNs to practice in Ohio. Dr. Maloney received the AANP State Award for Excellence in 2011.
