Lynn M Rapsilber DNP, APRN, ANP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Rapsilber is an expert in documentation, coding, and billing for APRN services and owns NP Business Consultants, LLC traveling throughout the country disseminating this information at conferences, webinars, meetings and events. She has authored book chapters in textbooks related to this and many articles. She also provides chart audits to help NPs and practice be in compliance and protect their revenue stream. She works with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services and as the ANA representative on the RUC review committee lending her comments for improvement to provider services and patient care.
She serves as Chair of the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses providing leadership in removing barriers to NP practice in Connecticut. The Coalition is comprised of the various population-based organizations speaking with a unified voice on legislative issues affecting NP practice in Connecticut. Lynn is always willing to share her insight and expertise with colleagues. She served the Connecticut AANP State Representative and on the Multistate Reimbursement Alliance and is the current AANP Health Policy Chair appointed by the AANP President.
She is Co-Founder and CEO of the National Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur Network elevating the nursing model to transform healthcare delivery by creating a financially viable community of Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneurs one practice at a time. NNPEN provides resources to cultivate the business brain of the NP entrepreneur something we get little exposure in our education and training as nurse practitioners. NNPEN develops partnerships with companies whose vision and mission are synergistic. NNPEN believes NPs know what is best for the communities they serve and help those NPs create the practices of their dreams. She also owns NP Wellness Care, LLC providing Hepatitis C treatments to Addiction and Rehabilitation centers.
Dr. Rapsilber completed her studies at Quinnipiac University: Doctorate of Nursing Practice: Leadership Track. She also received the Benjamin and Juliette Trewin Award for Professional Leadership in Nursing and the Transformational Nursing Leadership Alumni Award from Quinnipiac University.
