Deborah Kirk, DNP, CRNP, AOCN, FAANP is an Associate Dean (Nursing) Regional | Associate Professor | Nurse Practitioner at Edith Cowan University, School of Nursing and Midwifery in Western Australia. She has practiced for more than 23 years as a Nurse Practitioner in oncology. As a practitioner, she developed and expanded a mobile application for community resources for clinical practice. As an educator, she has developed course work for nurse practitioners and for those interested in oncology. She also has interest in expanding cancer/palliative nursing in sub-Saharan Africa. Recent achievements are the 2015-16 AACN Excellence and Innovation in Teaching Award; 2016 American Cancer Society Lane Adams Quality of Life Award; 2017 Fellow AANP.
