Melanie Logue PhD, DNP, ARNP, CFNP, FAANP
Dr. Logue is the Campus President for Chamberlain University College of Nursing in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to that role she was Director of Nursing Operations and the Senior Family Nurse Practitioner Coordinator at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California. Dr. Logue was the former Dean of Nursing at Grand Canyon University's College of Nursing and Healthcare Professions and served in several other academic leadership roles. She earned her dual PhD/DNP from the University of Arizona College of Nursing in 2011 and completed a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Outcomes and Comparative Effectiveness Research (COCER) at the University of Arizona. Prior to her appointment as an Academic Fellow in the HOPE Center, Dr. Logue was an Assistant Professor in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Grand Canyon University. After her doctoral education, she returned to GCU where she created the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and lead its accreditation. She has worked as a primary care provider serving different populations and communities in her native state of Arizona. Dr. Logue's clinical experiences are what incited her research and policy interests. She continues to mentor and educate nurses and nurse practitioners in her currently nursing academic role.
