Robin M Lawson DNP, ACNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Robin Lawson is a Professor at the University of South Alabama. As a pioneer in unique NP education, she created the first BSN-DNP Dual Family/Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP Program with Emergency Specialization in the country. She also created an innovative Primary Care NP Program to increase the number of Family and Psychiatric NPs practicing in rural and underserved areas. Recognition of her outstanding commitment to NP practice includes the AANP State Award for Excellence in NP Clinical Practice and the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama Outstanding State NP Award. Dr. Lawson served as the AANP State Liaison for Alabama from 2020-2024. She was inducted as a Fellow of AANP in 2018.
