Christopher R Hemmer DNP, ANP-BC,ONP-C, FAANP
Dr. Christopher Hemmer is an tenured assistant professor with Saint Louis University School of Nursing. He is currently clinical practicing in O'Fallon, Missouri treating adult Emergency Medicine patients at Progress West Hospital. Prior to moving to the ER, Chris worked for 25 years in adult orthopedics with an emphasis in spine. He is considered an expert in the treatment of patients with spinal disorders and has lectured extensively on adult spine pathology on the local, regional, national, and international level. He is a member of the AO Spine, NAON, Sigma Theta Tau International, and Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners. He has been awarded American Association of Nurse Practitioners State Award for Excellence, Shirley Martin Disguised Nurse, Preceptor Award for Excellence in Practice and Clinical Education, and Excellence in Advanced Practice Leadership.
