Margaret A Bobonich DNP, MSN, FNP-C, DCNP, FAANP
Dr. Bobonich is an Assistant Professor and Certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), Cleveland, Ohio. She created and completed an innovative 2 year Interdisciplinary Dermatology NP Residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Centers, providing a model for collaborative education and practice.
Dr. Bobonich's work includes seminal research for development of Dermatology NP core curriculum. She is co-editor of the first dermatology textbook for Advanced Practice Clinicians, Chair for the Dermatology track at the AANP annual conference and co-chair of the new AANP Dermatology Specialty Practice Groups. Currently, Dr. Bobonich Chairs the national Task Force to establish and publish national competencies and Standards for dermatology NP Practice.
Since 2006, Dr. Bobonich has led a clinical team from CWRU and Refuge International to provide health care for thousands of underserved in Guatemala--highlighting the humanitarian work of NPs in global health.
