Laureen M Fleck PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Fleck is a Family Nurse Practitioner from Boca Raton, Florida. She was the owner of a family practice serving over 7,000 patients including children, adult and geriatric patients for over 20 years. She served as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner students and is associate graduate faculty in both the Nurse Practitioner program and DNP/PhD programs at Florida Atlantic University. Her areas of special interest include obesity, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance and diabetes. Laureen received her Doctor of Nursing Science degree from Florida Atlantic University in May 2007 and her PhD in 2011 with a research focus on weight loss and perceived self-care in women with metabolic syndrome.
