Lisa-Kay Astalos Chism DNP, APRN, BC, CSC, NCMP, CBCN, FAAN, FAANP
Dr. Lisa Chism has been a nurse practitioner for 16 years and currently practices at Karmanos Cancer Institute in a multidisciplinary breast center. She is a Certified Menopause Practitioner and a member of the Patient Education Committee for North American Menopause Society.
Dr. Chism graduated in December, 2007 from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and has both published and presented on the topic of the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
Dr. Chism is an active preceptor and adjunct faculty for various universities' nurse practitioner programs and is committed to nursing education and promotion of the nurse practitioner role.
