Jessica Halstead Sharp PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Sharp, Dean of School of Nursing at Bluefield College , Bluefield, Virginia, practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Welch Community Hospital. She received her FNP at Marshall University, a CRNA from Mountain State University and a Ph.D. from George Mason University. Dr. Sharp is a dedicated educator and practitioner in rural West Virginia. She has been instrumental in the education of more than 120 FNPs who provide primary health care to the most vulnerable citizens in the state. Jessica is passionate about FNP education in a rural population.
