Beverly A Lang MScN, RN, ANP-BC, FAANP
Beverly Lang MScN, RN, ANP-BC, FAANP is the former Executive Director of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland, Inc. (NPAM), having served in this capacity for 10 years. Her leadership significantly contributed to the achievement of NP full practice authority in Maryland in 2015 and the growth of the state NP association. As a member of the first cohort of the AANP Future Leaders program, she developed a NPAM recruitment strategy that resulted in a 30% growth in membership. Lang was inducted as a Fellow of the AANP in 2018, is Professor Emeritus at Howard Community College (HCC), a member of the HCC Nursing Education Advisory Board, a member of the Editorial Board for The Maryland Nurse, and serves as Secretary and Trustee on the Nurses Foundation of Maryland, the fundraising arm of the Maryland Nurses Association. She volunteers with the Maryland Medical Reserve Corps. She has served on several state wide and national boards and workgroups and was awarded a grant from AANP to research the history of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland, Inc. (NPAM) and the NP movement in Maryland.
Lang has worked in a variety of clinical settings as a Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and was the owner of a sleep medicine practice in Maryland.
