Patricia Larrieu-Jimenez DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, CHSE is an Associate Professor of Clinical at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. She has 22-plus years of clinical experience in varied settings. Her expertise is in translating evidence-based practices and employing technology in education. She has made a profound impact by leading/developing a simulation curriculum that expedites the transition from didactic instruction to clinical practice. Patricia’s work has been disseminated in 16 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 21 presentations. Her efforts have secured $432,000 in education grants. She has also been a trailblazer in practice initiatives and changes in clinical settings. These contributions earned more than $330,000 in grants resulting in clinical practice changes.
