Gary Robert Laustsen PhD, APRN-FNP, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Laustsen is a Professor in the School of Nursing at Linfield University. Dr. Laustsen was the 2011 recipient of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners' Oregon State Award for Excellence. He currently works as an FNP in a clinic for the underserved/uninsured, and has previous worked in Emergency Departments, rural primary care clinics, and university health centers. Dr. Laustsen pursues quality nurse education and currently specializes in faculty practice, environmental and rural aspects of advanced practice nursing education, practice, and research.
