Leilani A C L G Siaki PhD, NP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Leilani Siaki is a retired Amry Nurse Corps nurse scientist, with expertise in culturally congruent approaches to prevention and management of metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes in military females and Pacific Islanders in particular. Through her work at the Hawaii State Center for nursing, committee work including the World Health Organization, research studies, and multiple adjunct faculty positions she has promoted the nursing profession at multiple levels and mentored, coached, and taught many graduate nursing students in creating and translating evidence to improve practice, earning her multiple military awards and by-name appointments on Army and National level workgroups to improve practice.
