Renee Parnell McLeod PhD, APRN, CPNP, FAANP
Renee McLeod, PhD, APRN, CPNP, FAANP has been a Pediatric nurse practitioner for over 49 years. She is a past National President and Clinical Practice Chair for NAPNAP and has had many other leadership roles at the National and local level of NAPNAP. Dr. McLeod is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker and expert on Pediatric Dermatology and is on the Board of LearnSkin which conducts continuing education and runs the Integrative Dermatology Symposium. She recently retired from her private practice (Pacific Integrative Pediatric Health) where she pursued her passion to focus on prevention and a healthy diet and lifestyle instead of disease with a pediatrician colleague. Dr. McLeod focused on combining Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine and other Integrative techniques with traditional Western Medicine to help parents of children with chronic diseases and to help all children and create healthy lifestyle habits. She currently is consulting with Schools of Nursing to assist with curriculum development on the new competencies and other regulatory and accreditation activities. In her free time she is traveling with her husband and teaching families how to make wonderful gluten free, vegan foods. |
